People always mistake me for...[advice please!]?

People always mistake me for someone else. I dont think I look ';common';, and when they suggest I look like another classmate or someone, I really feel like Im much better looking than what Im compared to! I know it shouldnt affect me, but it does. I feel like Im crappy looking when people compare me. I tell them, no Im not related to them or just smile when they say i look like that particular person, but inside, it really brings me down and I feel very depressed afterwards, like no one can see my beauty and how unique i FEEL. Is there anyway I can look different, but still naturally? and/or say something to these people, after they compare me, to make them remember and impress them on how unique I am?

Just because they suggest you look like someone else doesn't mean that they think you look exactly the same as that person. It just means that they think you have certain similarities and it certainly doesn't imply that they think you bad looking. You know that you are unique and I'm sure that they do to, they are just making a passing comment.


My sister looks like my mom but I don't think she looks old, she just has similar features.


If it really bothers you then maybe you could change your hair to make yourself feel better about it.


Don't forget that the other person you are compared to has feelings too and she probably wouldn't feel so great if she knew how you were describing her in this question.


You need to let go of what other people say and just love who you are and the way you look. Don't forget, it may just be small things that they think are similar about you and your classmate.People always mistake me for...[advice please!]?
you know who you are. to some your may be beautiful, others you may be average. all that matters is you know who you are and are confident . everyone is going to look a little similar to someone sometime in there life.

you go to all those popular stores and buy alot of cloths that other people have.


you also probably get your hair cut like everyone else because its the ';now'; thing... right?

try going to a bunch of other stores,


i had the same problem,


but i found out that i could get a bunch of totally awesome clothes from a few small stores that no one has heard of





i also got my hair cut like everyone elses but i went home and cut a little of here and there until it was totally awesome and unique.
