Okie doke, so basically i'm doing an art project based on the theme of ';Inside';
I have to take lots of photographs using this theme
the only idea i've had so far is i took a series of photographs of me opening up a corn stem until you can see the corn which i grew in my garden (:
it came out really well
any other ideas? (:
e.g. Inside the fridge, inside nature? (bit unspecific) help! ideass please (:
i'll love you (:People interested in photography? Arty advice! pleasseee help (:?
I enjoy slicing fruit very thinly and placing it on a sheet of glass.Rest the glass on wine glasses and shine a light through the fruit,a mirror is useful here.Photograph it as close as you can get,I use the macro setting on my little digital camera.Mounting the camera on a tripod helps.Cleaning up afterwards is no problem,eat the fruit.Pomegranates,oranges,lemons,kiwifr鈥?and tomatoes are especially good.People interested in photography? Arty advice! pleasseee help (:?
You could work along the lines of ';bring the inside out'; e.g get someone to put their clothes on inside out and photograph them. I'm thinking jumpers or knitted articles would work well for this. It could be done with items of tapestry or embroidery as they look so different on the inside.
Another idea is the inside of an old-fashioned clock or watch or other mechanical device.
You can get disposable cameras that are waterproof(i've never tried one) it might be worth trying out for life on the inside of a pond or the view from inside a bowl or vase of flowers or looking up through floating candles.
As a professional photographer i often use the term INSIDE to provoke different reactions to one photo, the last one being in a zoo i took a photo of this huge and powerful Gorilla who was sitting there inside his cage looking out from his bars, when i came round to editing the shot i was amazed at the impact it had on me and the questions it forced me to ask, how would i or others feel being locked up like that with a procession of people just staring but not really seeing the obvious stress and sadness these animals undergo in their forced environment. Another great shot would be an opened cigarette with the tobacco strewed around it the message you could apply to it is, how can this insignificant object be the cause of so much misery and death? think of your photos as an artist thinks of their paintings, provoke reaction, gives a message, creates emotions, instills many opinions. Take a shot of the inside of an empty book, what would you put in it? what would others? the picture asks them that and alot more. Be creative get inside YOU. B-LUCKY
what about pictures of the outside of people that reflect their inside? so people dressed differently cause they are different inside?
maybe you could shoot a whole series of photos from inside a house looking out the windows.
';Inside my mind/life';
Things about yourself, like future aspirations, or dreamy things (if you're allowed to photo shop) like, I don't know, flying cats, or a picture of someone made to look menacing (a nightmare).
';Inside the system';
Cops, a courthouse, jails...
And so on, it can be inside something like an idea (';the system';) not just something physical, like corn.
This actually sounds like it could be fun...
Inside a doll house would be cool.
Inside a greetings card...
an old shoe
an attic
things that are everyday yet hardly ever seen.
try to get behind locked doors that society at large doesn't have access to like prisons %26amp; young offender institutions,mental hospitals,homes %26amp; hospices.etc.etc
inside a flower ?
inside a book.
inside a glass vase or somthing preffibaly colored vase with a cool molding shape with the light will reflect on the table where your taking the picture. take from the opening of the vase (white table?)
inside your packpack like the trails of school and such
a leaf held up to a bright light so you can see all the veins
or put the timer on the cam put it a china cabinet and run out of the way lol so your not in the picture lol
