I need advice- I live in an apartment complex that previously allowed animals, the people who moved here?

before myself are allowed to keep their animals (some have up to 3 dogs). I have asked and they told me no animals allowed. WELL, I am planning on getting a 4lb tiny poodle in April, I also am planning on moving out of this apartment complex the second week of June. What are the chances that they will kick me out early OR do you have ANY SUGGESTIONS on what I can tell the management as to why I have this dog? (Im animal sitting for two months until I move etc) Please give me so feedback as to some good suggestions or ideas.I need advice- I live in an apartment complex that previously allowed animals, the people who moved here?
It is perfectly legal for them to change the policy and let the old people keep their pets.

They can legally evict you the day you get the dog and violate your lease. The new no pet policy means no new pets. PERIOD!

My only suggestion is to NOT get the illegal dog till after you move out and DON'T lie to the landlord!!I need advice- I live in an apartment complex that previously allowed animals, the people who moved here?
If the complex no longer allows animals, don't buy a dog until you are out or you will be in default on your lease. Just because the previous dog owners got grandfathered in doesn't allow you as the newer tenant to disobey the new rules. You can take a shot at asking the management if you can bring in your pet as you will be moving but if they allow you, then they go against their own new rules. Complexes that allow pets charge extra for them either with a one time up front fee or monthly fees and a healthy pet deposit that is non-refundable. To answer your question, yes they can toss you out if you get a dog.
You can't ';animal sit';, there are no pets allowed. I can't believe how may people have a hard time comprehending the meaning of ';No';. You can not possilby be that stupid and survive.

Plan on giving up your deposit, a possible law suit and a nice eviction on your credit report to warn other landlords that you are a loser.
